This charming hand-carved Yooperlite carving stands approximately 7cm tall, ears perked and a sweet little smile carved into its face. By daylight it's a soft grey stone flecked with rust-brown and cream, but shine a UV torch on it and it lights up in vivid orange and yellow flashes, a real showstopper. 

About the Crystal
Yooperlite is the trade name for a syenite rock rich in fluorescent sodalite, only discovered in 2017 along the shores of Lake Superior in Michigan. By ordinary light it looks unassuming, pale grey with hints of colour, but under UV light it transforms, glowing with fiery orange and yellow flashes. Its dramatic hidden glow has made it a favourite among collectors and crystal lovers alike.
